API Membership
Membership services are offered via the API National Secretariat (see the National API website) and the NSW Division.

Further member services such as access to Technical Papers, GST Alerts and Submissions are published in the Members Only Section
LIBRARY
A library is located in the API office at Level 3, 60 York Street, Sydney and contains reference books, property periodicals, property loose leaf services and the Sales and Leasing Monitor on computer. Library hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 4.00pm on Friday. It is not a lending library.

DISCOUNT OPPORTUNITIES FOR API MEMBERS
The API is a member of the National Building and Surveying Alliance (NBSA)which provides members with a range of discount services.
It is possible to recoup your membership fees by taking advantage of the discounts offered on a variety of products.
The NBSA is made up of a number of professional associations which together represent over 24,000 members. The Alliance was established solely for the purpose of providing services to the members of those professional associations.

To gain the discounts, members need to telephone the special reservation contact numbers, quote the appropriate scheme numbers or state that you are a member of the NBSA. These procedures are outlined on the NBSA website. However, in the case of the Flag Hotels, you need to contact the API National Office so they can mail you a free Flag Choice Card.
Also, for an application for the Commonwealth Bank Gold Card Affinity Credit Card, you need to contact the API National Office.
New deals can be made available throughout the year and we will notify you of these by email. These will also be notified through the NBSA website.

PRIVATE PRACTITIONERS LIST ON WEB
Listing in the Private Practitioners List is open to all members of the Australian Property Institute, New South Wales Division. The functions that enable members to create and administer their entries in the Private Practitioners List have been moved into the Members Only section.
To log into the Members Only section you will need a username and password. The Institute will mail to you shortly instructions on how to create your username and password.
If you previously created an entry in the Private Practitioners List your username will be the username you chose when you created that entry however your password will have been reset to your DCM number.
